Hidden Chaos

 Papier-mâché, plexiglass, optical fiber | 70×41 cm & 50×30 cm | 2018

Inspired by cross-sections of neurons and their synapses, this work explores the continuous communication and data transmission within the brain. Layers of repeated and integrated images echo the complexity and multiplicity of neural networks. Light carried through optical fibers activates the hidden structures, making visible the dynamic interplay of connection, signal, and form.
